I am now working on my fourth series for the BBC, submitting a weekly editorial cartoon that appears on ‘The Politics Show's’ online 'Barker Gallery'. My work has been televised by the BBC nationally and has also been used on their Africa and main homepages. My original venture into cartooning came through my designing of jokey t-shirts and from there I took the next obvious step - I became a Geologist. But my love of the art never left me and through this work I created a number of illustrations for scientific displays, graphics for exhibition material and scale model reconstructions of extinct species, including dinosaurs for UK universities. I eventually ended up in the ultimate masochistic profession - teaching, from which my cartoons thankfully saved me. My work is diverse, from the creation of illustrations for children's books, through educational/corporate material to single one-off gags and editorial cartoons for national publications.
