Joanne Brooker is a professional artist specialising in caricature, Joanne has been a full time editorial illustrator for Queensland Newspaper for nine years. Previously she worked in advertising and in T-shirt art design.

Joannes client list includes Rolling Stone, The Chicago Comedy Festival, the American Comedy Awards Book, Mad Magazine as well as many private and corporate clients all over the world. Most of her freelance work is done via the internet. This is a fast efficient way of working for anyone anywhere in the world.

Joanne Brooker has won many awards in the area of media art. These include Artist of the Year and Best Caricature, The Stanley Media Art Wards. Peoples Choice Award, The Canberra Media Art Exhibition, Four Times winner, Best Caricature, Coffs Harbour Best Caricature, Twice winner, Queensland Media Awards Best Editorial Illustration. These awards count Joanne as one of the best media artists in Australia.

Although Joanne specialises in Rock Caricature she is also an excellent cartoonist, computer artist, computer graphic artist and realist painter.

Joanne has also worked as a designer and layout artist.

Joanne has returned to Australia  after nine months travelling around the world. Since returning she has been invited to China three times to do caricature entertainment  for a Shanghai promotions company. The art of Cartoon and Caricature is part of her comprehensive teaching course that she teaches in universities all over Australia.

Joanne creates caricatures and illustrations for clients worldwide using the Internet.
