Hello, my name is Shirley Chan, I'm a graduate in Illustration for Children's Publishing. I was born in Hong Kong, and after living in New York for two years I settled in the UK in 1995 where I began my secondary school education.

My style is influenced by my chinese heritage and western upbringing, along with my interests in Japanese manga illustrations / comics, art & culture. I get inspiration from most things such as films, my travels around the globe, cultures, stories & folklores, the natural world, theatres, fashions and photography.
